Thereafter, continue by reviewing past chats or customer emails, thinking about the topics that you discussed with customers on the phone or in your store, and jotting down common topics. With these insights, you can easily create a mind map for your chatbot’s structure.

Prompt for Generating a Chatbot
You might need to make some small adjustments to the prompt to fit your website’s requirements, but don’t worry, I’ll guide you through it in the next section.
Design a FAQ Chatbot for an online store selling coffee and coffee machines and
accessories with the following description:
"DokonalaKava.cz - Everything you need to make the perfect coffee
At our online store, you'll discover everything necessary to brew the perfect
cup of coffee.
We don't just offer high-quality, fresh coffee, but also provide expert guidance
on how to properly prepare it. You can also browse our selection of high-quality
barista equipment, coffee makers, coffee grinders, courses, and other accessories."
The chatbot has the following structure:
Welcome message:
* Engage the visitor, which should encourage them to interact with the chatbot
or
start a chat.
* Length 200-300 characters.
Buttons:
* 5 brief questions in the form of buttons with a maximum length of 20 characters.
Responses:
*The chatbot sends a response of 200-300 characters to each question.
Other info:
* Be informal
* use emojis.
* Include general questions such as shipping and payment, and returns.
How to Customize the Prompt for Your Unique Chatbot
- First, I assigned ChatGPT a specific role. In this case, I want ChatGPT to act as an expert in chatbot creation—no need to make any changes here.
- In the second sentence, I’m telling ChatGPT what the final output should be: an FAQ bot. You should specify here the type of your online store. (In my case, it’s an online store selling coffee and coffee machines).
- Then, add a further description of your online store. A few short sentences should be enough for ChatGPT to create the chatbot.
- Then, I specified the chatbots’ structure to match the structure of Smartsupp chatbots. In this part, you should set a goal for your chatbot, which can be to engage visitors and encourage them to interact with the chatbot or to start a conversation with your agents. The goal could also be to encourage the visitor to make a purchase.
- Finally, the last step is to set the tone of communication. Here you can include things like whether to use emojis, or be formal or informal, and so forth. It all depends on the tone of your brand.
- The last text is optional. If you’d like, ChatGPT can also come up with general questions and answers about shipping 🚚, returns 🔄, etc.
One Important Piece of Advice
ChatGPT’s present model relies on data up to 2021 📅, and as a result, some of the texts it generates may be inaccurate. Thus, it’s essential to double-check the factual correctness of any generated text and make adjustments if necessary. ✅
